The hotel's spacious gardens offered a tranquil escape, perfect for leisurely strolls. I indulged in a visit to the on-site spa, which featured soothing treatments, including body wraps that promised relaxation. The sauna and steam room were a welcome addition, although I longed for a truly immersive experience rather than just treatments. The pool area was pleasant but could use more attentiveness from the staff. While they were friendly, I noted some lapses in service, particularly noticeable when we waited for coffee. I'd say the beach side was a bit underwhelming despite having loungers and umbrellas available. It made for a restful afternoon, though one could argue the location, slightly farther from the city center, shifted the vibe. If you're someone seeking tranquility and wellness, the Palais might just be the getaway you have in mind! It's a great setting to turn off the world for a moment-just go in prepared for a few bumps along the way.
